Snowbound Inside – with regards to Intel…

I recently watched a ‘Masterpiece Contemporary’ presentation with Alan Rickman (he of the first ‘Diehard’ movie and Sheriff of Nottingham fame from Kevin Costner’s ‘Robin Hood’), and was drawn in by the presence of a teleplay about a man meeting his old flame. Most of the dialogue of the production was Rickman speaking to the audience indirectly through hearing his thoughts – a veritable behind-the-scenes of his life. It got me to thinking that’s how Snowbound helps their clients – making business processes better through subtle but powerful behind-the-scenes leveraging of technology.

I just read a report from Columbia University that states that by 2030 half the population in the United States is expected to be obese. The findings also state that obesity is fast replacing tobacco as the single most preventable cause of chronic non-communicable diseases in this country. Viewing a Killer & a Killer Viewer

One of the most ingenious television shows in the past decade (and maybe ever) is Dexter – the serial killer of serial killers. This is a show that never ceases to amaze, drawing the viewer in through violence, poignancy and even comedy all the while making you feel empathy for a character who pathologically must kill others to assuage his ‘dark passenger’ and feel a measure of psychological balance albeit only temporarily. Dexter has been trained by his policeman father to only go after those who are ‘morally corrupt’ to both satisfy a moral code and keep him from being caught. Dexter daylights as a blood spatter analysis expert for the Miami-Dade Police Department – talk about the perfect position for a serial killer.

Spinning a Yarn about Nature that relates to creating document viewers for our clients & partners

I was looking out my balcony at the little pond behind our building, listening to the fountain, when I noticed a spider building a web in a pine tree right at eye level. Then I noticed another spider directly opposite – helping to build the same web. Round and round they went across from each other – quickly and cooperatively creating the means to feed and house themselves. I’d never seen spiders do this together before – the teamwork and precision was impressive. I kept waiting for one to attack the other as I thought they were extremely territorial, but it didn’t happen.
